Keep your eyes focused on one part of the ball.  Don’t watch your club as you swing.

Keep your focus on the ball and let everything else fade into the background.

Try to look down on the ball, rather than watching it at the end of the golf club.  Raising your shoulders is not going to help you see the ball more clearly.  If you will look down on the ball, you will get results that are more successful and you will not have a tendency to look up before the end of your swing.

Unfortunately, it is completely natural to look away when you begin to pull the club back.  Ignore the natural feeling and keep your eyes on the ball.

When you are looking down at the ball, you should notice that the only way you can keep the club head in the correct line of flight is to keep your hands moving parallel to the flight line.  Keep your hands in line with the club head when making contact with the ball.

It is very important to learn to watch the ball no matter what kind of shot you need to make.  It does not matter if the ball is in the long grass, the sand trap, on a slope, or anywhere else, the main thing is to see the ball completely so that you can hit it solidly and successfully.

There are not many golfers who stand still and keep their attention on the ball.  Many times, people will look at where they want the ball to go and then look at the ball.  Most golfers would be surprised to learn that they do not stand still and watch the ball.  The instant that you take your eye off the ball, you begin having problems.

Most golf mistakes are a result of a loss of concentration.  It you keep your focus on the ball, you will be able to hit the ball well.

To help your golf game, remind yourself to keep your eye on the ball for the entire swing.  You will find your golf game improving so much that your friends may be asking you for advice!

One of the foremost human motives, one that basically determines the other motives in the human hierarchy of needs is survival linked with security. Sense of security can only be acquired through complete knowledge of self defense and personal safety. Broadly Personal safety and self defense can be characterized as seven components which are stated below:

1. Survival Psychology

The motive to feel safe and secure is ingrained in us. Psychologists say that the fear of violence between people is considered to be a “universal human phobia”.

Survival psychology covers three broad areas:

  • Management and understanding of fear.
  • Study and training leading to self motivation regarding one’s own personal safety
  • Understanding the impact of self esteem on emotional resilience, crisis performance and victim selection.

2. Survival Intelligence

The brain being the control center of all human decisions and actions it is prudent to understand that it is the most powerful weapon in the human body. Survival Intelligence is the promotion of knowledge, intuition, awareness and assessment skills. Picking on certain pre – incident cues and signs and knowing respond to them is crucial for successful self defense.

3. Understanding Victim Selection

In an experiment determining vulnerability to criminal behavior Psychologists showed a videotape to some prisoners which showed several people going about their daily activities. The job of the inmates was to indicate which of the people on the tape they would select as their targets. The results showed common traits unique to those who were selected and those who were not. This proves that not everyone becomes the victim of a violent crime. It should be understood first of all that there is a selection process through which the attackers selects his victim. People who are trained in self defense are hardly ever attacked. Their movement, posture, skills etc. sends some unconscious signals to a predator that they are not an easy target.  Hence you are sending signals to the predator that will be interpreted to determine your vulnerability to an attack, simply put the more confident you are in your self defense abilities the more less likely it becomes that you will have to use them.

  1. Recognizing Predatory Behavior

The fact remains that how do you know who is the person you are to be aware of and not let your gurad down in front of? These people certainly don’t walk around parading the fact that they will attack you and harm you so are there any markings or signs that separate these people from the rest? Sadly: no. There are no unique physical traits that separate people who victimize others from those who don’t. They all look similar, but behavior is different. There are two types of attackers to be aware of. One is who deliberately locates a victim and then attacks, and the other is ticking time bomb. The latter is emotionally unstable and prone to violent eruptions. Unlike the predator who is more careful in his approach, the latter is like a ticking time bomb, and can spontaneously indulge in some meaningless violence for reasons that are understood solely by him.

  1. Response Option Theory

While we are within our legal right to defend ourselves however When learning a response system, you must consider the legal consequences of your actions.

There are 5 categories of response options relevant to confrontational situations:

  • Compliance
  • Escape
  • De-escalation
  • Assertiveness
  • Fighting Back

The circumstances and nature of the confrontation determine the response that should be properly elicited.

  1. Prevention Tips

Precautionary steps you can take to reduce the risk of becoming a victim. Understanding the functioning principles behind these tips, you can manage safety tactics. Those tips should be adopted with which you feel comfortable and which are helpful to your lifestyle. They would in the long run protect you from something very horrible and gruesome.

  1. Training Methods

All training methods and exercises will go to waste if review and practice is not consistent and punctual, skills learned through a self defense class would be forgotten. There are many benefits of studying and practicing self defense, such as reducing the chances of being attacked.

How can my punching tips help you? Firstly, you’re not just going to gain the ability to punch someone with more force and less effort than an improper punch but your going to learn how to strike someone with other parts of your body which will improve your all round ability to defend yourself.

As a child I was bullied on a frequent basis. I was never one of the popular children and I was regularly beaten up. Even when I started martial arts classes I was still picked on. The whole purpose of my attending these classes was so I could defend myself as and when the bigger kids decided to attack me. I stuck with the classes in hope that one day my skills would improve to a level that even when someone bigger than me attacked, I would have the ability to fend them off with a variety of different techniques.

By the time I left school, the punching tips I hade learned from my martial arts training were enough to barely fend off an attacker, but I still didn’t feel in control of these fights. Then I discovered some punching tips and striking tips that literally changed my life. I went from being barely able to defend myself against a larger attacker, to being able to destroy anyone who chose to pick a fight with me. I went from being “mr average” in the dojo, to being the top dog that nobody wanted to fight against. I also went from being a frequent early casualty in the martial arts tournament, to being a regular and consistent winner. I had literally changed my life! These punching tips and striking tips that I learned gave me the ability to walk the streets at night with confidence. Gone were the days I had to worry about who was around the corner, or who was coming up behind me. I went from being the guy that most people could just about beat up, to being the guy that has never been beaten up…since I learned these very effective punching tips and striking tips.

Not only was I able to defend myself, but my all round confidence grew as well. I became a much happier and a much more confident person. In turn this has improved my family life, improved my love life and improved my social life. But probably the greatest of all, these punching tips have also improved the life of the people around me. When I first discovered these incredible techniques I wanted to keep them to myself. Quite selfish I know. After years of living in the shadows I had the ability to stand out from the crowd, to fend off attackers and win martial arts tournaments. I wanted to keep it all to myself!

This was until a day came I decided I didn’t want to be selfish anymore. My best friend was walking home from the pub alone one night when he was attacked and beaten up pretty badly. I felt guilty that I hadn’t shared what I had learned with him. He wasn’t a martial artist but you don’t have to be to implement these techniques. It was at this point I decided I wanted to share what I knew with the people around me. Today, I can say with confidence that if any of my close friends or family were to come under attack, they would be very capable of fending off their attacker(s). REGARDLESS of age or gender…these techniques can help you if you’re male, if you’re female, if you’re a teenager, if you’re retired or even if you are a trained martial artist like me.

With the world that we live in today, I don’t just want my friends and family to be able to protect themself, I want YOU to be able to protect YOURSELF!!!! I want you to have confidence in your ability to defend yourself and I want you to share this with YOUR friends and family!

So, if have read this far then I can safely assume that you want to learn the punching tips and striking tips that helped me change my life.

Click the link below and I will begin to show you how you can take action to ensure the safety of you and those around you.

When you are doing your punching training there are many different things to take into account. Before you can begin perfecting the perfect punch you have to be able to make the perfect fist. From an open palm, roll your fingers down until they are at a 270 degree angle to the back of your hand. Then close your thumb under so that the finger print of your thumb is resting between your middle finger and your ring finger.

Although this may seem very basic and of little importance, there are many many trained fighters who break bones in their hand because they either do not know how to make a perfect fist, or they have under valued its importance. If you really want to be able to punch and strike with immense force and maximum effect then making a perfect fist is absolutely vital.

Now that we have established the importance of making the perfect fist for punching training or combat, I want you to now understand the main purpose of this article. How can this article really benefit you? There is an established method of training that will allow you punch with more force and less effort than an improper punch. This method is a blueprint that anyone can follow and anyone can use to maximum effect.

Before my martial arts days I would frequently get bullied and find myself in fights. I never did anything to give these bullies a reason to hurt me, but that doesn’t matter to someone that wants to hurt you. As a result of this bullying I decided to take martial arts classes. Before long, I established myself as a reasonable martial artist with the ability to ‘just about’ look after myself. But ‘just about’ wasn’t what I wanted. I then discovered a method of punching training and striking training that gave me the ability to punch my maximum force with minimum effort.

This seemed too good to be true. I followed this blueprint for punching training over and over and before I knew it I had literally gained the ability to protect myself against anyone that chose to attack me. It didn’t take long for word to spread about my new found abilities, and these bullies that had caused me misery no longer wanted anything to do with me. Not only that, but my martial arts abilty improved dramatically. I went from being nothing special, just your average student in the class, to becoming an international martial arts champion who could punch with greater impact and less effort than any other student in the class. It even got to the point when my instructor asked me to hold a class based purely on punching training. He himself couldn’t believe the transformation in me.

Truth be told, finding this blueprint was probably the greatest thing that ever happened to me. My whole life has improved dramatically since. Something very important to remember is that this punching training which I have learned can be applied by anyone, no matter of age or stature.

The correct punching training can be very very useful in building your stamina and improving your overall fitness. Having said that, the training which I have discovered is designed to give you maximum effect with minimum effort to ensure there is no wasted energy. This is another reason why it is important to ensure you make the correct fist.

You can see for yourself here http://punchingtips.weebly.com/

This punching training will ensure that you are fully equipped if/when the time comes when someone attacks you or your family, you are ready and capable to defend yourself and your family using proven methods. Can you imagine anything more embarrassing than not being able to protect the ones you love from being attacked or injured? Not being able to deliver that perfect punch that fends off the attacker? That would be humiliating! Lets ensure TODAY that doesn’t happen to you, before it could be to late.

Click and see for yourself….what have you got to lose?

Take care

Greetings from the Minister of Defense. With the holiday upon us, it is a great time to stress the importance of increased awareness! This is the time when bad guys and gals, evil doers, and predators look for people who are easy targets! It is our intention to make everyone more pro-active and aware, and not victims during this holiday season.

There is an email going around that bears repeating because it involves great tips on personal safety! This is information you want to pass to your loved one and other people you care about.

  1. The elbow is the strongest part of the human body. If within range, do not be afraid to use it!
  2. If a mugger asks you for your wallet or purse, do not simply hand it to them, but, rather you should throw it in another direction away from you. If they are interested in the wallet/purse, they will pursue it! THEN YOU SHOULD RUN IN THE OTHER DIRECTION!
  3. If you should get put into the trunk of a car, kick out the tail light and stick your arm out the hole and get some attention. Now cars come equipped with an escape latch you can pull on to release the trunk. Do not forget to look for that.
  4. Stay focused on your mission. Do not get to your car, get in and then start doing other things, like your checkbook, or your make up. The bad guy/gal is watching you and this would be a perfect time for them to take advantage of your lack of awareness and get in with a gun to your head! AS SOON AS YOU GET INTO THE CAR, LOCK THE DOORS AND LEAVE. If someone is already in the car, DO NOT DRIVE OFF!!! Instead, put the pedal to the metal and crash into something. The airbag will save you while the other guy will get the worst of it, especially if they are in the back seat. This option is better than being found by police in a remote location after being rapped!
  5. Use your vision to look around your car and underneath your car too. If next to a big van, enter your car from the passenger side. Most people with evil intentions will attack women while getting into their cars. If something feel not quite rite about the cars or people in the cars next to yours, then turn around and go back into the mall or where ever you came from and get someone(police officer) to escort you.
  6. Stairwells are notorious for people waiting to attack someone. The elevator is a better choice. Especially at night. It is always a good idea to have a Kubotan or pepper spray accessible in close quarters like the elevator.
  7. If they have a gun, that does not mean you are under their control…RUN!!! They will have a harder time hitting a moving target than one standing still! Be sure to run in a zig-zag pattern.
  8. Do not fall for ploys like people tying to get you to feel sorry for them. It may be an attempt to lure you into a compromised position. You remember Ted Bundy, the serial killer right? Enough said.
  9. Do not fall for the scams. Some will try and get your front door open by recording a baby’s crying to get you to open your front door and investigate. JUST DO NOT OPEN YOUR DOOR!
  10. Some have been turning on people’s water faucets to full blast so the home owner will get up and turn it off! Again, DO NOT OPEN YOUR DOORS!

We hope you find this information useful as it may help to prevent a crime from happening to you or your loved ones. If you need help learning self defense or you need self defense products, please let us know how we can help you.

Greetings everyone, this is your Minister of Defense, Xavier Smith, with a note on safety. This is more specifically for women who happen to travel either for work or pleasure. In my line of work, I come across many people with varied thoughts and habits related to personal safety, and I have to say that I am both surprised and alarmed by what I have witnessed. I recently had a conversation with someone who I am now comfortable calling my friend; the Divine Miss White, also known as Cathrine White. Talk about an empowered woman! She is empowerment personified, and if every woman had the passion, will, and mind set that she possesses, I am afraid there would be no need for what I do as a self defense instructor.

The subject of our conversation was safety for women while traveling. I was honored when Miss White asked me to give my thought as the authority on this matter. I mentioned earlier that Cathrine is the embodiment of empowerment. What I did not mention, is all that she has gone through to get to where she is today. It is my goal to share some information with you to be filed in your “mental toolbox” so that you do not have to go through some of the things that Miss White and many other women have gone through. The fortunate fact is, Miss White is still with us but there are also a large number of other women who have been met with personal injury or a much worse fate because basic rules of self defense and awareness were either ignored or were not known about. It is my desire to reverse that trend.

I was so inspired by our conversation, that I thought it would be prudent to share some basic rules with you designed to raise your awareness level so as to avoid becoming a victim or statistic.

Rules To Live By When Traveling

Well I hope that this information has been helpful to you as you can never have enough information about your safety. This is you Minister of Defense, and I am signing off.

To your safety.
